My Account is your go-to portal for overseeing and managing all of your organization's projects with ProtoSpace Mfg in one place.
If you’re unfamiliar with our My Account portal, then you have come to the right place. In this blog, we take you through five features that will make your tasks even smoother and easier while working with us.
Reorder Previous Orders
One of the big features that comes with My Account is the ability to find and reorder previous jobs easily.
Under the Search Jobs tab, you can view all of your previous orders, with the most recent one displayed at the top. To make your life easier, we've got different colors for different types of jobs. If you see any orders in blue, that means it's a Reorder Job.
If you’re looking for an older order and can't quickly see it in the list, don’t worry! You can search for your previous order, either by reference name, PO number, contact name or job number.
After adding the item to your cart, you’ll proceed to the checkout page where you can select the service type (Priority or Economy) and specify the quantity of the part or enclosure you wish to order.
This will save you time and eliminate the need to go through the entire ordering process again.
Instant Quoter
The Instant Quoter tool in My Account has the ability to give you a price quote for your design within seconds. All you need to do is select Instant Quoter within My Account and then upload your design file (accepted file formats include STP, STEP, IGS).
The standard process of getting our Engineering & Design Services team to review your design and provide a price estimate usually takes one business day to deliver a price quote.

Depending on the design you are quoting, you will encounter one of three scenarios:
In the latter two scenarios, you can submit the Request-for-Quote form to receive your official quote within one business day.
Tracking Active Orders
Another standout feature of My Account is the ability to check your order status at any time, saving you the trouble of emailing or calling an Account Manager for updates. Whether your order is in e-drawing approval, build sheets, production, or shipping, you can track its exact status within My Account.
This feature is especially useful for checking updates during non-office hours and weekends. Simply log into My Account anytime to see the precise status of your order. This convenience saves you time by removing the need to wait for an Account Manager to return to work and respond.
Template Generator
If you are an engineer or a designer, the Template Generator in My Account can be a very valuable tool during your design process as it allows you to create custom CAD templates for over 50 styles of enclosures, brackets and panels. After entering your specifications, we will generate a blank CAD template and send it to you via email.
You can choose to receive the file in either .stp (STEP), .dxf (AutoCad) or .pda (Protocase Designer Assembly).
You can then upload the template into your preferred CAD software and customize it to meet your project requirements, incorporating cutouts, fasteners, brackets, partitions, hardware and graphics as needed.
E-Drawing Approvals
We use an E-Drawing approval process in order to get your final sign-off on the design before it gets manufactured.
E-Drawing Approvals are hosted within the My Account portal, so you can significantly reduce the time it takes for your designs to move into production. This is especially useful when working on tight deadlines or in industries where speed is crucial.
Remember: This is your final opportunity to validate your design, so make sure the model aligns with what you require. If something is amiss, you can request a revision. Be thorough in your notes back to our Engineering & Design Services team!
